Michael, the Archangel - The name Michael signifies "Who is like to God?" and was the war cry of the good angels in the battle fought in heaven against Satan and his followers. Holy Scripture describes St. Michael as "one of the chief princes", and leader of the forces of heaven in their triumph over the powers of hell. He has been especially honored and invoked as patron and protector by the Church from the time of the Apostles. Although he is always called "The Archangel", the Greek Fathers and many others place him over all the angels - as Prince of the seraphim. St. Michael is the patron of grocers, mariners, paratroopers, police and sickness.
What are Angels?
An angel is a pure spirit created by God. The Old Testament theology included the belief in angels: the name applied to certain spiritual beings or intelligence's of heavenly residence, employed by God as the ministers of His will.
Who are our Guardian Angels?
No evil shall befall you, nor shall affliction come near your tent, for to His Angels God has given command about you, that they guard you in all your ways. Upon their hands they will bear you up, lest you dash your foot against a stone. Psalm 91: 10-12
The fallen angels
These beings, because of pride, did not return God's love. God did not destroy them, but permits them a limited scope of activity. Their condition is permanent for no creature can turn away from the perfect good of the beatific vision once he has come to enjoy it, and no additional reflection could change the mind of a purely spiritual being who has turned away
Archangels
Archangels are generally taken to mean chief of leading angel, (jude 9; 1 Thes 4:16), they are the most frequently mentioned throughout the Bible. They may be of this or other hierarchies as St. Michael Archangel, who is a princely Seraph. The Archangels have a unique role as God's messenger to the people at critical times in history and salvation (Tb 12:6, 15; Jn 5:4; Rv 12:7-9) as in The Annunciation and Apocalypse

Angel Experiences
IN 1978 MY DAD AND I HAD COME OUT OF A FORMER CHAIN RESTAURANT IT WAS 6:00 A.M. WE MET A PERSON IN RAGGEDY CLOTHES, HE WAS MISSING HIS RIGHT ARM AND IT LOOKED LIKE HIS RIGHT ARM HAD BEEN BURNT OFF. HE ASKED MY DAD IF HE COULD SPARE ANY CHANGE AND MY DAD TOLD HIM HE WOULD GIVE HIM SOME FOOD MONEY IF HE WOULD NOT SPEND IT ON ALCOHOL BECAUSE HE IS CHRISTIAN AND THE MAN TOLD US HE WOULD NOT BUY ALCOHOL. THE MAN HAD A GLOW ABOUT HIM AS IF THIS WAS NOT HIS TRUE FORM, DESPITE HIS APPEARANCE MY DAD AND I BOTH FELT A HEAVENLY PEACE COMING FROM HIM. MY DAD PUT SOME MONEY IN HIS GOOD HAND, THEN THE MAN SHOOK OUR HANDS AND SAID GOD BLESS YOU. HE SMILED WITH AN ANGELIC SMILE AND A STRANGE GLOW AND THEN BEGAN TO WALK AWAY. VERY QUICKLY DAD TURNED AROUND WITHIN SECONDS THE MAN HAD DISAPPEARED, WE LOOKED ALL AROUND FOR HIM BUT HE WAS GONE. AS WE LEFT THE RESTAURANT THE SAME BIBLE VERSE CAME TO MY DAD AND I IN OUR MINDS MATTHEW 25: 35-40 " FOR I WAS HUNGRY AND YOU GAVE ME SOMETHING TO EAT, I WAS THIRSTY AND YOU GAVE ME SOMETHING TO DRINK, I WAS A STRANGER AND YOU INVITED ME IN, I NEEDED CLOTHES AND YOU CLOTHED ME, I WAS SICK AND YOU LOOKED AFTER ME, I WAS IN PRISON AND YOU CAME TO VISIT ME, THEN THE RIGHTEOUS WILL ANSWER HIM, 'LORD WHEN DID WE SEE YOU HUNGRY AND FEED YOU, OR THIRSTY AND GIVE YOU SOMETHING TO DRINK? WHEN DID WE SEE YOU A STRANGER AND INVITE YOU IN, OR NEEDING CLOTHES AND CLOTHE YOU? WHEN DID WE SEE YOU SICK OR IN PRISON AND GO TO VISIT YOU?" "THE KING WILL REPLY, I TELL YOU THE TRUTH WHATEVER YOU DID FOR ONE OF THE LEAST OF THESE BROTHERS OF MINE, YOU DID FOR ME.

My mom was driving her car and something told her to stop at a green light. If she did not stop the person would have killed her. A car came speeding through a red light. She stopped and the car went though.

When I lived in Colorado I had an experience that I believed was an angel. One night me and a friend decided to go up in the mountains. We had watched the weather reports and ignored them. They said the temperature would be around -25 degrees F with possible snow. On our way up there the roads became really terrible. There was snow about 3-6 inches inches covering the road. We continued to drive and got to the highest lookout point. From here you could see the road from both sides for miles. We stayed there for awhile and left due to the cold. As soon as we drove out I lost control of my truck and went into the ditch. Me and my friend tried and tried to get out but failed. After being outside for a few minutes my hands were already beginning to freeze. I then decided to pray to God for help. As soon as I said amen there was a truck that seemed to appear from nowhere. He stopped and asked if we needed a hand we told him yes. The next thing was very strange he asked for us both to get in my truck. Without much effort he pulled us out. I found that odd due to his size because he was very small. We thanked him and he told us that the road got better as we went down the mountain. He then got in his truck and I turned to thank him again but he vanished without a trace. Being the highest point on the road we looked down the road from both directions for about 30 minutes. There was no sign of anyone. Me and my buddy got in my truck with a warm heater and talked about the man all the way home. We both agree to this day that the man was an angel.

Year 2000, I was driving to work on the interstate, traveling west, and noticed a pickup truck on the side of the road on the east side of the highway that looked exactly like my brother's, but I saw no one around the truck. I called work and told them I was going to be late that my brother was broke down on the side of the road. I got off at the next exit and got back on the interstate traveling east. As I pulled over behind the truck I then noticed it was not my brother but an older man in overalls changing the tire. I thought to ask if he needed help anyway since I had pulled over but he just smiled and said "No thank you ma'am". So I got back on the highway and took the exit, which wasn't but about 30 feet away, and got back on the highway going back to work. When I looked over back across the highway the man and his truck were gone. And I noticed three dogs walking from the tree line towards the highway. I don't know the dogs have to do with the story but I noticed them. But when I pulled up behind the truck the man was in mid change of the tire, the tire was off the truck, there was no way he could have changed the tire and got the jack off within a minutes time. I thought at that time that he was an angel and possibly saved me from having a wreck; however, there were no wrecks reported that day on my route to work.
