This online report is intended as a brief synopsis of paranormal events that unfolded or was founded to accompany the investigation of the following location. This is only a brief synopsis of events and by no means entails an in-depth account of all activities, encounters or experiences of the paranormal or actions taken by the investigating agency. This is intended as an information report to assist those that are suffering from a haunting or ghost sighting and is for those who seek support and understanding of haunts.

Video Camera: Sony Handy cam Night Shot CCD-TRV37 Video 8 MM XR with attached HVL-IRC IR.
Digital Cameras: 2 - Olympus D360L, 1 - Olympus 35 MM Camera.
E.M.F.: Extech 480823 2 Trifield Natural Meter
Recorders: G.E. Micro cassette, Radio Shack Micro cassette
Thermometer: Radio Shack Digital, and mini-thermometer.
Other: Radio Shack IR Motion Detectors, Standard Compass

In addition to photos and Evp's, other evidence collected was recorded in the report as influx in Geo Magnetic fields which indicted energy fluctuations that supports spirit energy. These readings are in direct correlation to data collected by this agency and those others that utilize EMF meters and the evidence collected falls within the area identified as spirit energy present. Thermal probes and scanners indicated several drops in temperatures that were such a drastic change that no normal or realistic explanation other then the paranormal could be given. They fell within the parameters and data supporting such changes and would indeed lean toward that of the paranormal. These readings were present and noted in this investigation.

Investigators Synopsis

This investigation was a very intense investigation and we do have numerous photos to display on this page, please allow the photos to load as it may take a minute or so.

Orbs are very controversial in paranormal investigations. But on this particular investigation Missouri Ghost Hunters Society and Gateway Ghost Hunters Assoc. experienced something rather wonderful. The photos you are about to view are NOT NATURAL OR MAN MADE. There was no conditions for moisture, pollen, mold, dust or any other explanation other then the paranormal. What makes this so exciting is we knew where to shoot the camera for these orbs. You could feel the energy and where you felt the energy you would get these orbs, if you shot to the left or right of it, you would get nothing, but if you took a photo where you felt the energy you would get these orbs. This energy kept encircling us constantly moving around us. Again if you shoot the camera where you felt it while it was encircling us, you would capture these orbs, then if you shot to the left or right, your photos would come up empty. You could sense a very very deep saddening in the ravine. At one point during this, the thermal probe indicated a drop of 20- degrees in the temp and EMF meter indicated that something was present. This entire process lasted over two hours, then silence, no feeling of the energy present, and no photographs picking up these energy orbs. Every investigator out there witnessed dark shadows of human silhouettes within the ravine and there was an intense pulling of energy toward the ravine.
These orbs were captured on both 35 mm and digital. Even the mass orbs were captured on 35 mm and were verified on the negatives. Based on the elements that were not present and the accounts of what was felt and witnessed, it is our belief and that of Gateway Ghost Hunters Assoc. that the orbs are indeed of the paranormal and not of natural or man made. We examine our photos and rule out any possibilities of natural or man made. Other then natural or man made we have never captured these energy orbs other then at one particular location that hosts a portal.

Before we go on, let us tell you a little bit about the Massacre. 11 men were marched to a ravine in Marais des Cygnes. They were lined up in the ravine while numerous men on horseback took positions on both sides of the ravine on the hillside and began to execute these men. Shotguns and rifles were used. 5 men died, 5 more were wounded and 1 faked his death as he was covered in blood of the man next to him. The details of this massacre are abundant as the survivors told there story and the witnesses to the capture of the 11 men who were marched to the ravine also told their story.
We could go and inform you of a step by step account from the book as to the facts of this terrible massacre, but for space we will avoid that. There are numerous books available through the State of Kansas on this subject. Although the site is closed for visitors at the time, due to numerous vandalism’s. It is not open to the public until further notice. Missouri Ghost Hunters Society and Gateway Ghost Hunters Assoc. obtained special permission to visit and investigate this area. We must tell you that we are still in the middle of this investigation, but we wanted to supply you with our first nights events.

There are 18 photographs that will follow. To be honest we could post a lot more, but for space we will only post these 18 for now. However, when we get the rest of the 35 mm scanned we will post some in the photo albums.
