This online report is intended as a brief synopsis of paranormal events that unfolded or was founded to accompany the investigation of the following location. This is only a brief synopsis of events and by no means entails an in-depth account of all activities, encounters or experiences of the paranormal or actions taken by the investigating agency. This is intended as an information report to assist those that are suffering from a haunting or ghost sighting and is for those who seek support and understanding of haunts.

Video Camera: Sony Handy cam Night Shot CCD-TRV37 Video 8 MM XR with attached HVL-IRC IR.
Digital Cameras: 2 - Olympus D360L, 1 - Olympus 35 MM Camera.
E.M.F.: Extech 480823 2 Trifield Natural Meter
Recorders: G.E. Micro cassette, Radio Shack Micro cassette
Thermometer: Radio Shack Digital, and mini-thermometer.
Other: Radio Shack IR Motion Detectors, Standard Compass

In addition to photos and Evp's, other evidence collected was recorded in the report as influx in Geo Magnetic fields which indicted energy fluctuations that supports spirit energy. These readings are in direct correlation to data collected by this agency and those others that utilize EMF meters and the evidence collected falls within the area identified as spirit energy present. Thermal probes and scanners indicated several drops in temperatures that were such a drastic change that no normal or realistic explanation other then the paranormal could be given. They fell within the parameters and data supporting such changes and would indeed lean toward that of the paranormal. These readings were present and noted in this investigation.

Investigators Synopsis

There comes a time in every investigators search that something so profound happens that it is proof beyond belief that spirits exists. On this night, that was the case. Linda and I will never forget the events that unfolded this night. For in our eyes there were no lack of paranormal events and the experience that we experienced will hold very close to us and has enlightened our proof of the paranormal on a personal level.. Please read the accounts of this investigation to hear what we had experienced.

Just a couple of weeks prior, Gateway Ghost Hunters Assoc. and Missouri Ghost Hunters Society teamed up to conduct the initial investigation. Tonight, Linda and Brian of Missouri Ghost Hunters Society returned for the primary phase of the investigation.

We arrived and met with a park ranger who unlocked the gates for us, we said our good-byes and thanked him. As his taillights faded into the darkness, the black of the night surrounded Linda and I. No doubt, this was a perfect night for an investigation. We proceeded to travel up the hill and over the knoll, making our way to the ravine where the massacre took place. No roads and no lights are visible from where we were at, just complete darkness. We set up the Sony Night Shot and placed the video camera right in the ravine, focusing on the trees that are said to be nourished with the blood of the victims. Looking at the tree to the left, we figured that would be a great place for an E.V.P.
After setting up everything, we took a 360 degree photo series for comparison. Making our way to the concrete observation platform, we set up the E.M.F. meter to monitor fluctuations in the Geomagnetic Fields and sat down to observe the normal lighting and sounds of the area.
It wasn't long before the feeling that you were not alone engulfed us. The E.M.F. meter started to jump back and forth, indicating a strong change in the magnetic field. This supported our feelings of a strong presence that were being felt by us.

Brian took the digital recorder and began to conduct an interview E.V.P. After asking a question, he would pause for an answer. Upon completion of the interview, what happened next will stay in our minds for ever and have changed our lives. Brian just finished with the last question and turned off the recorder when a large blinding light flashed just above Linda and Brian's head illuminating just Brian and Linda. The feeling that accompanied the light was that of total peace and a feeling that a celestial presence was with us. It was very peaceful and very strong.
Not long after the light, in the four compass directions we could hear heavy footsteps in the woods walking toward us. They drew nearer and nearer. Several times during the night, both Linda and I could see a shadow of a man standing on a hill that was positioned about 50 feet from us. This happened several times throughout the night. The thing about this, is Brian did not tell Linda of the shadow and vice versa. We try not to share such things until the Post Evaluation of investigations. That way we can compare what we saw, felt and experienced without the influence of one another. This shadow man gave a feeling of being of bad nature and felt that of a negative energy. Every time he appeared, he just stood for a few seconds, then faded away.
The footsteps drew even closer and they sounded like they were just a few feet away, just out of eye sight. A very strong and overwhelming feeling of numerous presences were felt and were accompanied by a very strong feeling of a negative energy behind us on the hill. At that moment, where we seen the shadow of a man, a loud bark of a dog echoed the night as it came from right behind us. Turning around there was nothing there. Immediately we took off toward the small hill were we seen the shadow of the man and crested the hill to find nothing. It was as it should be.
We made our way back to the observation platform and continued to hear the sounds draw even closer.

Not long after the dog barked we decided to head home and evaluate our evidence. We did capture an EVP at one of the trees. The voice was that of a man saying "Help Me". Evaluation of the EVP shows a range of 300 Hz which is below our capabilities in our human voices and therefore is ruled as paranormal. With the events that occurred this night and what we witnessed, we believe that we were in the middle of something that was taking place in the spirit world. The celestial light, the dark shadow of a man, the numerous disembodied footsteps that was coming from the 4 corners of the compass and the intense feeling of strong energies, we believe that unseen events were unfolding and we just happen to be in the middle of it all.

Our investigation will continue at this location so we may continue to gather more data in support of what we seen, experienced and felt, not to mention our own theory as to what is at this location. Time and the collection of data will bring us more answers.
