In 1999 MGHS needed the assistance of a psychic. After calling every psychic in the Kansas City Phone Book. Every psychic we talked to were willing to help until we told them we need immediate results and without a fee. We were about to give up when one that we called, who all we got an answering machine and I didn’t leave a message, but rather just hung up. In about a minute after hanging up, my phone rang and it was one of the psychics, Jeff Watkins. He agreed to meet us without pay and with the knowledge that we would need immediate results. That’s when we knew that Jeff was a special person with a heart as big as Texas. Since that first night, Jeff volunteered his services for our team. We began to talk almost daily and before we knew it, we had become best of friends. Linda, Jeff and I would sit for hours over dinner and the evening air and talk about the past, the future and just enjoy great friendship.
Jeff would be there for anyone in a moments call. Always ready to give to anyone who needed help. He was one of the most caring people I have ever met. His love for God is how Jeff led his life. God was number one and everyday he would walk his life with God in the lead.
I will miss our daily phone calls to each other, the investigations together and our summer bbq’s. We have not only lost a team member, but Jeff was like a brother to Linda and I. We have lost a very special friend.
We love you Jeff and we know that you will be in our hearts where ever we may go.
