Online Incident Report

This online report is intended as a brief synopsis of paranormal events that unfolded or was founded to accompany the investigation of the following location. This is only a brief synopsis of events and by no means entails an in-depth account of all activities, encounters or experiences of the paranormal or actions taken by the investigating agency. This is intended as an information report to assist those that are suffering from a haunting or ghost sighting and is for those who seek support and understanding of haunts.

Investigating Agency: Missouri Ghost Hunters Society - Paranormal Investigations, Gateway Ghost Hunters Assoc., Two Unidentified Witnesses.
Investigators Present: Brian, Linda, Jeff, Mitch, Shawn and Belinda

Equipment

Video Camera: Sony Handy cam Night Shot CCD-TRV37 Video 8 MM XR with attached HVL-IRC IR.
Digital Cameras: 2 - Olympus D360L, 1 - Olympus 35 MM Camera.
E.M.F.: Extech 480823 2 Trifield Natural Meter
Recorders: G.E. Micro cassette, Radio Shack Micro cassette
Thermometer: Radio Shack Digital, and mini-thermometer.
Other: Radio Shack IR Motion Detectors, Standard Compass

In addition to photos and Evp's, other evidence collected was recorded in the report as influx in Geo Magnetic fields which indicted energy fluctuations that supports spirit energy. These readings are in direct correlation to data collected by this agency and those others that utilize EMF meters and the evidence collected falls within the area identified as spirit energy present. Thermal probes and scanners indicated several drops in temperatures that were such a drastic change that no normal or realistic explanation other then the paranormal could be given. They fell within the parameters and data supporting such changes and would indeed lean toward that of the paranormal. These readings were present and noted in this investigation.

Mideast Missouri

Investigators Synopsis

Our caravan of vehicles turned and twisted through the many curves and hills on the back roads of Missouri. Finally we reached a small quaint town nestled in the foothills. Slowing down we turned onto a gravel road that took us to this modern ranch style house. We had received this request for help from our two unidentified witnesses that had made contact with this family who stated that they have been experiencing numerous events of the paranormal. One particular family member was the precipitant of these ghostly encounters more then the others. The young girl was seeing those family members that have since passed on, for there was constant sightings from this young girl who stated that the deceased family members are visiting her on a regular basis.

Poltergeist activity was the one event that seemed to occur more then the sightings. Phantom footsteps, disembodied voices and unexplained noises was common for this family. Tonight we hoped on capturing some of these paranormal events. We must say that this was a difficult task. It appeared that the spirit world was influencing our equipment to prevent such recordings. This challenge proved to be a victory for the spirit world.

We had interviewed the family and soon set up our equipment in strategic areas that we believed to be active in the paranormal. I choose the upstairs bedroom of the young girl. Placing the Sony Night Shot near the bed, a strong cold brush of wind passed by us. Meanwhile our unidentified witnesses placed another Sony Night Shot Video camera at the other end of the bedroom. As they were sighting in the camera, they viewed what appeared to be several orbs passing near the bed. After setting the equipment up, we left the room to allow the equipment to be our eyes and ears so we may concentrate on other parts of the house.

Linda, Jeff and one of our witnesses began to pick up on energies in the house and was able to identify the spirits that dwell within this home. There was a strong energy that could be felt by all.

Not long after the Video camera was placed in the upstairs room, Brian went to check on the equipment and discovered that the Sony Night Shot had quit working. The tape had pulled from the tape housing. The camera had been working fine and was tested prior to setting up at this location. A new tape was replaced and while up there the EVP was checked. Before starting a new EVP Brian checked out the one that had just finished. At playback a high screech is all that was heard on playback. It acted as though a strong magnetic interference was overriding the recording. Another tape was replaced and a new EVP was started. Linda had joined Brian and a interview EVP was decided. So Brian began an interview type EVP and after each question, Brian would pause for the spirit to answer. After the interview Brian set down the EVP to continue on it's own. We also set up the Trifield Natural Meter in the room to be monitored by the recorder. Brian turned up the volume on the Trifield Natural Meter so if it picked up on something the audio tone would increase and be detected by the recorders.
Brian and one of the unidentified witnesses went to the bottom of the stairs and stood there as psychic Jeff Watkins was talking with others in the living room. Within a few moments phantom footsteps was heard by the unidentified witness and Brian and the footsteps appeared to be coming from the upstairs bedroom. The footsteps walked on to the landing. Brian and the witness made out what appeared to be the form of a person. After we saw this the form walked on into the room and the footsteps could be heard, then the Trifield Natural Meter began to activate and the tone sounded as if it was peaked at its max and remained that way for several moments. Psychic Jeff Watkins turned toward us as he had heard the Trifield Natural Meter activating.
We went upstairs to check on the equipment and rewind the recorder so we could hear the activities prior to. Upon playback of the tape, the tape had appeared to be erased. Nothing could be heard and the tape was blank. We tested the recorder and it was working fine, but the tape had been erased. A strong magnetic field could very well cause such a phenomena.
We continued the investigation the rest of the evening and continued to collect evidence. After getting back home to view the Sony Night Shot 8 mm tape, we found that the tape could not be viewed on playback. As Brian and Linda was checking out the tape we found that if you push play and fast forward the tape in the play position, you could view the tape while fast forwarding.
We believe with the reported paranormal events and the events that we had witnessed, it is our belief that this home does indeed posses spirits of the once living. We also believe that a more in-depth investigation is recommended.
We want to thank our two witnesses for their hospitality and so much that they have given and we want to thank Psychic Jeff Watkins for his continued help. One more, we want to thank Gateway Ghost Hunters Assoc. for all of their help and we really love working with them. We value their input and we value their professionalism and knowledge. We really enjoy working with them.
