This online report is intended as a brief synopsis of paranormal events that unfolded or was founded to accompany the investigation of the following location. This is only a brief synopsis of events and by no means entails an in-depth account of all activities, encounters or experiences of the paranormal or actions taken by the investigating agency. This is intended as an information report to assist those that are suffering from a haunting or ghost sighting and is for those who seek support and understanding of haunts.

In addition to photos and Evp's, other evidence collected was recorded in the report as influx in Geo Magnetic fields which indicted energy fluctuations that supports spirit energy. These readings are in direct correlation to data collected by this agency and those others that utilize EMF meters and the evidence collected falls within the area identified as spirit energy present. Thermal probes and scanners indicated several drops in temperatures that were such a drastic change that no normal or realistic explanation other then the paranormal could be given. They fell within the parameters and data supporting such changes and would indeed lean toward that of the paranormal. These readings were present and noted in this investigation.

Shadows seen from the corner of the eyes; Phantom footsteps; Apparition of a little girl witnessed by several family members (approximate Age: 5 Years Old); Cabinet doors open on close on there own; Unseen hands tickle the kids feet when they sleep at night; Unexplained sounds; A baby Crying; Unexplained Smells of flowers and perfumes.

We inched the van in front of the house. Fog engulfed the home like a heavy blanket, only allowing a quick view of clear details now and then. We sat in the van for a few moments studying the home. Or eyes examined each and every window, looking for maybe a quick glimpse of a shadow or the piercing eyes of the reported ghost watching us. But, the windows sat quiet, offering only protection from the fog outside and the peace and solitude of the evening sounds. After just a couple of minutes, we joined hands and said our prayer, like we do prior to all of our investigations. We gathered our gear and made our way to the steps. We were greeted by Erin and escorted to the lower level to meet Joe. We sat in the living room as Joe and Erin filled us in on what had been taking place since they moved in 3 short weeks ago. Joe and Erin explained to us, upon moving in, the prior residents left behind so many things. A Ouija board was one of them, as they found the board sitting on the basement floor. Erin and Joe knew of the dangers of the Ouija Board and immediately threw the board away. Joe went on to say, that the events started almost immediately. It first started when the children would wake up crying. They told their daddy that a little girl was tickling their feet and how she would pull at their covers. Both Joe and Erin thought that maybe the children were dreaming and tucked them back in bed for the night. They soon found out that the children were not dreaming, and realized that there was someone in the house with them, "someone unseen". Joe and Erin Lay in bed one night, when the sounds of the creaking floor boards drew their attention. They listened with anticipation, as the floor boards squeaked under the weight of each footstep. The footsteps made there way across the kitchen floor, then down the steps. A relief flooded Joe and Erin, for the footsteps were going down and not up to where Joe and them were. Joe checked the kitchen and living room only to find everything as it should be. The footsteps and the nightly visits to the children became a constant occurrence. Until one day, Joe was in the bathroom, when he found himself watching a toy car on the bathroom floor. He observed how the tires of the car lay in perfect alignment with the seam of the tile and the bathroom door, that was ajar. Joe continued to watch this car and he didn't even realize that the bathroom door was opening ever so slowly. Almost at a stare now, Joe continued to look at the car. His stare was suddenly broken as the bathroom door was now pushing the car, as if someone was slowly opening the door. Joe looked up only to see nobody there. Tilting his head left, then right, Joe could still not see anyone. Looking between the crack of the door that is always present near the hinges, when a door is ajar, Joe seen a little girl dart down the hallway. This sighting of the little girl marked only the first of many to follow. They continued to tell the team that they see the little girl several times a day now and unexplained noises, footsteps, voices, etc. are now constant. After taking witness statements and checking/Cleaning our gear, we began to examine the house. Our first goal was to ensure that the elements of the home (i.e. Wiring, lighting, etc.) were not to blame for the occurrences. Joe took us to the upper floor, to where the bedrooms are and where the bathroom is that Joe witnessed this toy car. Linda collected E.M.F. readings in the bathroom. As Linda turned toward the mirror, the ceiling light fixture cover came crashing to the floor, nearly hitting Linda on the head. E.M.F. Readings indicated that spirit energy was present in the bathroom.

We continued to examine the house and found that no natural or man made elements could be causing these events. We then started looking into the paranormal for explanations. We met back up in the living room, which sits beneath the kitchen. As we listened to Joe and Erin tell us more events that had occurred. A loud "Creak" echoed down from under the kitchen floor. Footsteps walked slowly across the floor, our eyes were fixed at the ceiling as we looked with anticipation with each footstep taken. We slowly sneaked up the stairs and took a picture in the kitchen.

We continued taking readings and photographing the house. Our next room was the basement. Linda measured E.M.F. Readings and in a couple of locations, the E.M.F. Meter indicated a strong energy that made us believe that spirit energy was being registered.
We continued to examine the basement when Joe came in and reported that the Kitchen Cabinets had opened and slammed close. We checked out the kitchen and a VERY STRONG AND OVERWHELMING presence was felt some of the team. They described the feeling as though this spirit energy had run from the kitchen and passed right through them, giving them an intense rush of energy as it passed. Photos taken showed an orb in the kitchen. E.M.F. Readings supported the orb and the presence felt. Throughout the investigation, Joe and Erin's daughter, on several occasions pointed in the air and spoke a word in Spanish that means monster. When photos were taken at that time, Orbs were captured. Sony 8 MM Night shot captured several moving orbs within the basement. On several occasion, Joe and Erin's daughter pointed at a orb that was being video and again said monster in Spanish. We continued to watch the daughter through the view finder of the video camera, as she pointed at orbs and said monster.
A psychic was Notified to come and validate what we had found. Jeff Watkins (A local Kansas City Psychic) was contacted and he agreed to help us out.
A further note, at several times everyone detected a woman's perfume, the smell of roses and flowers and a mans after shave. These odors were often and very strong. They were all detected in either the basement or in the living room.

The Clearing
At 6:40 P.M. the team and I met with Jeff Watkins about one block away from the Asevedo House. After the introductions, we headed up to the house. We were very excited to see what Jeff would find in perspective to our evidence collected. Jeff was introduced to the Asevedos and I followed Jeff throughout the house with the 8 MM Sony Handy cam, filming his readings. We started in the basement and I watched as Jeff began. After just a few minutes, Jeff began to tell me what he was feeling and seeing. The first to be detected was a dog. This was noted in my head, as just two nights prior, Linda, the Asevedos and I had witnessed a dog whining from within the basement. Jeff went on to say that it was a family of 5; Father, Mother, Two daughters, one son and the family dog. They were traveling west to Santa Fe alone down the "Trail of Tears" when the Father and Mother developed the "POX". The parents instructed the oldest daughter (Marla, 5 years old) what to do in the event they died as a result of the POX. Soon, the dreaded had arrived and the parents passed away. Marla followed her parents instructions and burned anything that her parents had been in contact with, i.e. clothing and her parents as well. Marla was left with her little sister, little brother and the dog. Food was scarce and running low. Marlas parents had told her prior to their death to wait on the trail for a passer byer to help them, but that never happened, for they were so remote that other travelers might take months to pass by. Even though Marla did without most of the food, so her brother, sister and dog could eat first, the brother and sister soon died of starvation. The dog held next to Marla and refused to leave her side, soon the dog passed on from lack of food and Marla stood alone on the trail of tears. As time moved forward, Marlas death was inevitable, for she soon passed on from starvation. Jeff went on to say that the grave in the basement is at least 150 years old and is that of the grave of Marla. Jeff and I continued to go from room to room and soon we had completed our walk through. Jeff and I returned to the living room and Jeff informed our team and the Asevedos that the families spirits are in the Asevedo house and Marla is the one that had been tickling the Asevedo children's feet and pulling at the covers. He also indicated that the Fathers spirit is very protective of his family and the Asevedo family. Jeff finished the summary of his findings and then entered the basement to begin removing the spirits. Our team and the Asevedos sat in the living room while this took place. Linda and a team member sat on the couch with cameras in hand and began taking photographs of the stairs, in hopes of seeing activity as Jeff conducted his work. Below is one of the many photos of orbs that appear to come down the steps, to the basement door and then vanish.
Jeff Watkins finished up and ensured the Asevedos that the spirits of that family have went to the light and have left the house. The Asevedos called Linda and I later that night and informed us that they feel better about the house and things seem different some how. M.G.H.S. has placed this case in closed status and it will remain closed unless more evidence or occurrence's occur.
"CASE CLOSED, Psychic Jeff Watkins Cleared the property. No known incidents has occurred since the clearing."
