Orbs;: From Middle French orbe, from Latin orbis circle, disk, orb (something circular). In the field of Paranormal, the orb is believed to be the representation of a once living soul, that has now passed on, Angels, Demons and energy particles of a spirit. Is there evidence to support this? Well, "Yes". The study of Orbs in perspective to Ghost has been around from some time now. There is much evidence that supports this theory of orbs. Other well noted ghostly events have been documented with the presence of orbs, such as Cold Spots, sudden decrease in temps, a strong feeling of a presence, and in some cases the actual visual sighting of an orb. Now there are a lot of books out there on Ghost Hunting that give their view point on orbs and in most cases, everyone is just about on the same sheet of music. We here at M.G.H.S. believe that orbs are of the Supernatural elements. We believe that some Orbs are Angels, some are Demons, but we do know that orbs are generally associated with haunted locations. Some orbs could be that of a once living spirit. There are many man made and natural causes that can indeed cause orbs to show up on your photographs. The sad part is a lot of Ghost Hunters and those that post them on their web site, often post the ones that are either man made or natural, along with the photos that are indeed that of the paranormal. To assist you in telling the difference in these orbs, it will require you to study orbs and the evidence around them at the time of the photograph. Such as cold spots, a feeling of a presence, etc. If your photographs show that the orbs are in motion, then this is a good indication that the orb is that of a ghostly nature. But, can I or any other paranormal Investigator truly go by each web site or go through each book and say "Yes that is an orb", and "No that is not". No we or anyone else can't do that, for we were not there when the photo was taken and we do not have access to the events that occurred during the capture on film of these orbs. Lets face it, there are no experts in this field and not one person can say what is what. It takes everyone in this field to put information together and try to come up with a hypothesis. Now I, and just about any other investigator or researcher will give you an opinion if it is requested, on weather or not you have a photograph of an orb, but that's all you would get, "An Opinion". For I must say again, "There are no experts in this field". But, there are "VERY EXPERIENCED" individuals out there that could set you in the right direction.
