"Vortex and Baby". When my husband and I were together, I used to say his house was haunted.I was getting dressed for work one morning and the sliding glass door opened violently. I was the only one home besided the two cats and dog. They were looking in the direction of the door and it had been shut and locked, I was terrified and thought someone was coming in the house. I got up my nerve and went to investigate and there was nobody in the house and the sliding door was open. I just kind of blew that episode off. One night I woke up to the smell of chocolate chip cookies baking in an oven. I used to hear a newborn baby cry in the middle of the night, and I would get up and check the back yard and there would be nothing there. My sister spent the night one night and said the house was haunted also. I never told her about the little things and we compared stories. One afternoon my exhusband and I were having a terrible fight and I went to the kitchen and he went to the back bedroom to shower. I was talking out loud to my self and in my left ear I heard a female voice say "Hush", "Hush", I just froze and all the hairs on my neck just stood up, I was terrified to turn around and look but I did, there was nothing there. I always felt that I was crazy. I happend to be surfing the website one day and found the IGHS and just started clicking on different links. I happend to see pictures of vortex's and other anamolies and realized. When my son was born I had this picture and could not figure out what the heck this thing on the picture was until I saw other similiar pictures. After looking at the picture of my son and comparing to what I saw on the internet, I knew all along that this house was haunted. The spirit never materialized to me, but I kind of wish it had.
