In addition to photos and Evp's, other evidence collected was recorded in the report as influx in Geo Magnetic fields which indicted energy fluctuations that supports spirit energy. These readings are in direct correlation to data collected by this agency and those others that utilize EMF meters and the evidence collected falls within the area identified as spirit energy present. Thermal probes and scanners indicated several drops in temperatures that were such a drastic change that no normal or realistic explanation other then the paranormal could be given. They fell within the parameters and data supporting such changes and would indeed lean toward that of the paranormal. These readings were present and noted in this investigation.

    Springfield, Missouri

    Investigators Synopsis

Getting out of our cars near the entrance to this well known haunted location. All of us had pure excitement in our eyes. Finally we had made it. This location is listed in numerous books, on the Internet and had been a place that we were wanting to investigate for years. Now here we stand as we prepare to make our way down the trail.
We have to keep this location quiet and therefore will not mention the name or location, other then Springfield, Mo. This is done to protect the owner, as well as the location.

We began to take the long walk down the trail, when I noticed that everyone was quiet. You could see the anticipation in each face as they mulled over in their minds this history of this place. They were ready and we hoped to capture some evidence in support of this haunt. We made our way and conducted a walk through near the recreation area and then on to the cabins. We decided to check out the recreation area first, then later move toward the main cabin.

Darkness set in and we began to walk one of the paths that led below this above area. As we walked in silence, you could hear another set of footprints to our right. Everyone could hear the extra set of footsteps to the right. We stopped just in time to hear one extra set of footsteps take one more step, before stopping themself. Brian took a photo near the sound of the phantom footsteps and captured this odd light. See Below Photograph.

Greg uses the Trifield Natural Meter and picks up a strong 7.0 on the meter. A strong feeling of not being alone was felt by all. Not to mention the sounds of people walking around the building. On more then one occasion, a dark shadow outline of someone was seen through the threshold of the doorway as they passed in front of it as they walked by. Taken with the Olympus D360L Digital Camera. The above photo is a crop of a woman's face that is in the doorway of the photo to the right. We have circled the woman's face in red. Do you see her forehead, eyes, nose and mouth. It is really clear. This photo was taken when the Trifield Natural Meter was spiking at about 7.0. All Rights Reserved. Copyright M.G.H.S.

Brian and Linda were alone in the main building while Derek went up to meet Greg and Wendy. While we were in the building, Brian was taking temp readings with the Thermal Probe. Each doorway showed a reading of 70 to 71 degrees. Until the main entrance showed a 106 degree reading. Brian told Linda of the reading and he rechecked the reading and it showed 96 degrees. This 96 degree reading held for about 30 seconds then returned to 71 degrees. Brian was about to call Derek and Greg on the radio when they got on and said they were on the path heading our way when they ran into a hotspot. They said they could feel a dramatic increase in temps. This was only a few seconds after the 96 degree reading had quit at the doorway and they were only about 75 feet up the path.
Brian, Linda and Derek walked up to the recreation area, leaving Greg and Glendy to monitor the main building. Brian, Linda and Derek were up at the recreation area, no more then 5 minutes, when the motion detector could be heard coming from the main building. Greg hollered on the radio that the motion detector activated right after they heard footsteps walking over some tin that was on the ground at the main building. We made our way back down and continued to monitor the area. During the night we continued to get high readings with the Trifield Natural EMF Meter, as well as one EVP, numerous photos with orbs in them and constant sounds of people walking around us and the sightings of dark shadows as they passed by windows and doors. Below are more photos of the area that we collected during that night.

    Investigation open and ongoing
