This online report is intended as a brief synopsis of paranormal events that unfolded or was founded to accompany the investigation of the following location. This is only a brief synopsis of events and by no means entails an in-depth account of all activities, encounters or experiences of the paranormal or actions taken by the investigating agency. This is intended as an information report to assist those that are suffering from a haunting or ghost sighting and is for those who seek support and understanding of haunts.

In addition to photos and Evp's, other evidence collected was recorded in the report as influx in Geo Magnetic fields which indicted energy fluctuations that supports spirit energy. These readings are in direct correlation to data collected by this agency and those others that utilize EMF meters and the evidence collected falls within the area identified as spirit energy present. Thermal probes and scanners indicated several drops in temperatures that were such a drastic change that no normal or realistic explanation other then the paranormal could be given. They fell within the parameters and data supporting such changes and would indeed lean toward that of the paranormal. These readings were present and noted in this investigation.

Witch's Bridge has been a legend and a tale handed down for generations. Many tell that this was not a legend but indeed history of numerous witch's that had been hanged at the South end of the bridge for practicing witch craft in the 1800's. Some even state of hangings that even occurred in the 1900's. Written evidence of these hangings are not present, so one can only speculate and hear the fascinating tales that each gives a story of what was handed down to them from friends and relatives. Could there be any truth to such tales and lore's? Well Linda and here best friend decided to set up an investigation at this location to see if any paranormal activity could be recorded. Now before we go any further, I will give you a tease and state that a couple of weeks after Linda had conducted the investigation, psychic Jeff Watkins had been taken to the location to conduct a reading and his findings supported the tales and lore's that had been spread for decades. Now Jeff went to this bridge only knowing that paranormal activity might be present. His knowledge about witch's or hangings were not given to him. You will read about his finding further down the page. So now here are some notes from Linda and other photos with some brief happening out at Witch's Bridge.

Some reports that Linda and Teresa gave while on location included seeing a shadowy figure of a person cross the bridge. They also heard several times throughout the night of what appeared to be stones being thrown toward them just landing in the wood line near the bridge. NOTE: Further Investigation revealed no Walnut or Pecan trees near by and no other type trees that could possibly drop anything to give the impression of stones being thrown. They also heard disembodied footsteps and the bridge does sway when a person walks on the bridge or when a car passes, on a couple of instances while they were siting on the bridge, the bridge began to sway as if someone was walking across the bridge. There was also numerous sounds like footsteps near the South end of the bridge and this occurred several times during the night. This bridge is still under investigation and we will bring further evidence as we collect it. Now read Psychic Jeff Watkins Notes as he conducted a reading at the bridge a couple of weeks after Linda and Teresa conducted there initial investigation.

PSYCHIC JEFF WATKIN’S NOTES:
We must stress that Jeff did not have any information about the bridge. The only thing he had available to him was that the bridge might have paranormal activity. Upon arrival Jeff saw an older woman standing on the bridge at the South end. He stated this woman had been hung. He went on to say the woman was not a witch but had been branded as one by the locals and she had been hung falsely. Jeff also seen others that had been hung and he had seen one spirit that had drowned on the west side of the bridge. During his reading we all had heard disembodied footsteps walking on the bridge and the bridge did sway as if someone was walking. Jeff also stated that he felt a heavy energy of what appeared to be that of a residual of someone practicing demonic rituals in the nearby woods.

24 July 2003, this night would prove to be the most daring of them all. For this night would bring a situation that we have never had to deal with, for the exception of one other time, but not as sever or presented in a way that shows physical evidence to one of our senses. This is a chilling account of the events that unfolded to Linda and I and what we are about to tell is the truth and there are no man made or natural explanations that haven't already be checked out or discussed. So with this in mind, please read these accounts at your own risk.
Linda and I arrived at Witch's Bridge about 9:30 P.M. The night was still and little to no natural light. The moon was days from it's new moon phase so no lunar light was present. Witch's bridge sets out in the country far from heavy vehicle traffic and only a few homes are within a mile either way of the bridge. We pulled our Dodge Ram 4x4 up into a pullout area about 2 blocks from the bridge. That is the only place to park and one must walk a couple of blocks to the bridge. Linda and I park and gather our gear and begin our walk toward the bridge. Crickets and tree frogs fill the night with their song, so setting up an EVP would prove to be impossible. We study the sounds of the night and any other factors that we need to note for our photo shoots and any other equipment that we might use. So we begin to take some photos and we soon start to pick up some orbs.
About 45 minutes into our investigation, "well let me explain something first". This bridge sways and moves to movement on the bridge, so walking will cause the metal to clang and you can feel a swaying to the bridge. Now back to what I was saying. After about 45 minutes into the investigation when I take a shot with the Olympus D360L Digital Camera toward the North end of the bridge and capture this Supercharged type orb energy. (See Photo Below).

Then within a few seconds you hear the metal clang to the left of the photo above, as if someone is walking across the bridge toward us. Within a few seconds more, Linda feels something brush across her hair from behind. Then we take a few more photos and pick up nothing. So we check out the area and begin to walk back to the South end, when I whisper to Linda "When I say stop, Stop walking and listen". For I was hearing an extra pair of footsteps walking with us. So I whisper "STOP", which we do and the other footsteps stop just as quickly as we stopped. So that little trick didn't really work to good. Any ways we continue with our investigation when things change quickly. But before I go on, many will ask this question or comment on what they think so I will tell you ahead of time. I am a avid hunter and hunted bear, deer and many other types of animals and know what they sound like, how they walk and what noises they make as they walk, so your everyday ANIMAL has been ruled out. Now with this out of the way, I will continue. We walk toward the South end of the bridge, with our truck about 2 blocks in front of us, we hear a large, and I mean VERY LARGE limb break to our right, just at the end of the bridge. Now we are still on the bridge not far from the end toward where the noise was coming from. Linda and I stopped and listened as we heard even more limbs breaking, but these are not twigs, but very large limbs and with each limb breaking we hear something walking our way in the woods. The steps were that of something on two legs. We make our way toward the wood line and shine our flashlights into the dense woods and could not see anything walking our way, but the footsteps and the limbs being forcible crushed was still heading our way. It was almost like whatever it was, was intentionally breaking large limbs off of the trees as it walked. We knew we were not prepared to investigate something like this, so we decided to head toward the truck and try to use the headlamps of the truck to shine through the woods. We get almost to the truck when we both realize that the footsteps had changed directions and had been following us in the wood line as we were walking on the roadway. I started the truck with a remote starter on my key chain and asked Linda to go ahead and get into the passenger side and as she was opening up her door to get in, I was just reaching the drivers side mirror when whatever was in the woods was now coming toward me at full speed, tearing and ripping limbs down as it was coming. I told Linda to hurry and get in that whatever was out there was coming right at us. We made it into the truck and turned on the headlamps, but the truck was parked pointing straight with the drivers side pointing toward the wood line, so I quickly pulled the truck out and turned the headlamps toward the woods, but nothing could be seen. However, I had my driver side window down and could still hear limbs breaking, but no footsteps. We waited for a few more minutes and decided to go down the road and turn around and drive back over the bridge and see if this thing would come into the road and us capture it in our headlamps. However, we drove past a couple of times and never seen anything. The last time driving toward the bridge, we were traveling about 20 MPH and were about 5 blocks from a curve right before seeing the bridge, when Linda yelled "Look" and she pointed out my drivers side door, I tried to look but I thought she was pointing out the front windshield, so I slowed down just a little and then I seen a hugh owl fly in front of the truck. Linda said the owl was flying right beside the truck and it was within my arms reach out the drivers side window. This owl had flown next to my window for a couple of blocks. Now what does this have to do with anything, well if you believe in Animal Totems or Animal speaks then one would know the owl represents that spirits are near. Some even believe that these spirits are evil. But that is up to you to believe or make up your own mind on. But Animal Speaks is a good subject and one would be amazed at how accurate they are in your everyday life.
Linda and I talked and have decided to pull the whole team in and we will wire that wood line with Passive Inferred sensors, Night vision equipment and recorders, motion detectors and trip sensors. We will investigate this area with more in-depth equipment and of course better prepared for such a situation. Now remember that psychic Jeff Watkins has sensed that in that wood line area, he detected energy of a group of people trying to summons up something evil. We will investigate this matter and bring you our results. One other thing, the possibilities of someone playing a trick on us is pretty much out the door, for it is to remote and to dense for them not to have a vehicle close by and the nearest house to far to walk from in hopes of catching someone out a Witch's Bridge to play a trick on. So that is pretty much ruled out.
Also experienced this night was a constant odor of a campfire, but no smoke or signs in the surrounding area showed any evidence of someone with a campfire.

A small clearing in the dense woods that reveals the location of the area that the footsteps and the breaking of very large limbs was occurring. We will investigate this matter fully and bring you any details that might shed some light on what happened to Linda and I this hot summer night. So keep checking back to see if this page has been updated.
INVESTIGATION OPEN AND ONGOING
Personal experiences from Witch's Bridge
I started going to the bridge approximately 15 years ago. A friend said it was haunted and we decided to check it out. There was a group of us that went repeatedly over the years. Some members of the group changed, but my girlfriend and I were the core of the group. The first couple of time we went nothing happened. Then a young man went with us, and he and I struck out on our own, while the other 5 or 6 wandered elsewhere. He was down on the southwest bank of the creek, and said he could see someone in the shallow water and started talking to this person. It was a small child floating in the shallows wearing a white gown of some sort. I couldn't see anything from the bridge looking down, but when I went down on the bank I could see a vague white shape in the water. I couldn't hear anything either. That was all that happened that night. Nothing happen again for several years. I didn't go out there as much either. Then about 8 years ago, my friend and I with some others started going out on a regular basis. At first nothing happen. I got into the habit of going off by myself, and trying to talk with whatever might be out there, trying to see if I could get a response. The others were elsewhere on the bridge and the surrounding area, ignoring me, to see if I could make contact. Some of the younger members of our party came up to the bridge saying they heard footsteps. My friend went with them to see what was going on. In the meantime something started happening on the bridge, I couldn't see anyone, it was just a feeling I wasn't alone on the bridge anymore. I kept talking, but the rest of the group came running up on the bridge saying there was something out there, and wanted to leave. We went back within the next day or so, and I again as on the bridge by myself trying to make contact again, while everyone fanned out and left me alone. this time while I was trying to talk to who might be out there, a faint while light appeared floating in the air about 10 to 15 feet away from the bridge in the air. It was maybe 4 foot in height. The moon was out that night, but there were no tree branches or anything for the moon to be shining on to cause the light to float in midair without being a solid moonbeam to the ground. There were trees around, but they were moving with the breeze, and would have caused shadows with the moonbeam. The light felt wrong, but I still kept talking to it, my friend made me leave, they were hearing the footsteps again, and she was worried about my talking to the light, she couldn't see it, but could feel something. She told me it felt wrong also and wanted to go. I didn't want to go, I wanted to continue talking to this faint light. We went out again within another day or so, I wanted to go out badly, and she didn't want me going by myself. I resumed my position on the bridge, and after half an hour or so, the light appeared and moved closer and was more solid this time. It looked vaguely like a woman, I couldn't make out clear features, but she was floating about 6 feet from the railing where I was at. I was trying to talk with here, was thinking thoughts towards her, and she started motioning with here hands, I swear it looked like she was motioning me to come towards her. As I was right at the edge of the railing, ti would have involved going over the edge of the railing. When the light started getting closer, I decided to leave quickly and ran off the bridge, when I looked back, the light was in the middle of the bridge, where I had been. In the meantime the others were heading towards the truck just as fast as I was. The footsteps were going again. They reached the truck and I was yelling, let's just go, we've got to go, and as were were piling in I could hear the footsteps coming through the woods towards us fairly fast. Whatever we disturbed that night was not friendly.
